Hey there, I'm Jason Burkey.
Jason has been steadily working in film and television for more than a decade. He’s most known for his television roles in HULU’s Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated miniseries, Dopesick, the Emmy and Golden Globe winning series, Atlanta, CBS’s Blue Bloods, AMC’s The Walking Dead, NBC’s Ordinary Joe, and FOX’s The Resident, to name a few.
Jason’s career began in feature films with a lead role in the surprise hit, October Baby, which was honored as one of Entertainment Weekly’s “15 Most Impressive Box Office Performances of 2012”. This led to his roles in People’s Choice nominated, I Can Only Imagine, Disney’s Lady and The Tramp, and The Art of Self-Defense, opposite Jesse Eisenberg.
You can catch him in The Beanie Bubble on APPLE TV+ where he has a supporting role alongside Zach Galifianakis. Other supporting roles include the Searchlight feature, Suncoast, with Woody Harrelson and Laura Linney and the upcoming AMAZON comedy, Merv, opposite Zooey Deschanel.
Jason thrives off of meeting new people and encouraging them in their pursuits, namely acting. To him, acting is one of the most visceral, healing and inspiring arts. It's an honor for him to invite people into that world and to help them succeed within it!
